Scheduling
The Surgery Center will contact you by phone and email 48 hours in advance to confirm your arrival time for surgery. Your arrival time is a best estimate. The day of surgery you will need to be available and "on call" in case your surgery time is moved up. The Surgery Center will call you with as much notice as possible if they are ready for you earlier than anticipated. This is common! The Surgery Center will also notify you in the rare instances when the schedule is delayed.
Caregiver
An adult caregiver needs to be present for your initial admission and discharge. We can comfortably accommodate one adult caregiver with you in pre-op prior to your surgery. We are not able to accommodate caregivers waiting in the office during your procedure. Please have them plan on using our outside green space or lot. The nurse will contact your caregiver when you are ready to be discharged.
Visitors
Overnight patients are allowed one visitor at a time in the recovery area. Visitations are scheduled for one hour. If there’s more than one visitor at a time, then they may switch out. Children are not allowed in the OR suite.
Phone/Electronic Devices
Please be courteous to others with your use of phones and electronic devices. Visitors are encouraged to step outside for extended phone calls. Calls and other entertainment may not be on speaker phone. Photos and video are not allowed in to protect other patients’ privacy.
Animals
Service Animals only. Emotional support animals and other pets are not allowed in the building.
Smoking
This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed on the property or in the parking lot.
